May 11, 2021 - a day in bed in Riyadh

Spent the day in bed resting. Am exhausted. Did not do anything remotely Arabic until we went out to the U Walk for dinner. We went to a Turkish restaurant called Huqqa which tasted wonderful after not eating all day, following the pig out buffet on our first evening.

I saw my first Saudi lady driver. Unfortunately her car had been in a crash and the side had some "road rash". Most women were not wearing head scarves and I saw about 5 who did not wear an abaya, but did wear tight trousers. So I guess times are a-changing here.
