Day 29 - Back to England - What a Relief

Today's joy was returning the rental car. My flight time was late in the day, so I got there about 30 minutes before closing. There was a lot of paperwork for the WIFI devices, the car dent was covered. Honestly, am amazed that after driving a month on these roads these were the only issues. So happy to be rid of the car.

I was at the gate in plenty of time and relieved to be on a plane back home.

I was so traumatized by this trip that it's taken me over a year to blog about it. It took a good 9 months for my ankle to be back to "normal" - that said I still get twinges occasionally.

I would be interested in returning to Iceland to go to the Ion Adventure Hotel in the center of the island. Maybe one winter with the kids....
